our story
A few words
about us.
Founded in 1997 as Transport Roger Labranche Express in the Drummondville region, the company immediately began offering direct delivery and parcel services. Customer numbers quickly grew and demand diversified, forcing the company to expand its range of services. As a result, pallet delivery was added to the SME's daily operations.
In 2004, the company is acquired by Mr. Poliquin, and the name is shortened to Labranche Transport Inc. This new acquisition comes with a whole new vision, and with it a succession of administrative and operational changes, giving Labranche Transport Inc a whole new image and direction for the future. The service is diversifying and the territory is expanding, but the company maintains its core business of 24-hour general cargo delivery.
As the company's customer base grows, it continues to evolve, adapting to changing needs. In 2006, a new division was created within the organization, Labratrans inc., a logistics brokerage solution designed to broaden the service and enable the company to meet all types of transportation needs, whether specialized, part-load or full-load, in Canada and the United States.
In 2013, the company was victim of a major fire leading to the total loss of the main terminal and several of its vehicles. It was thanks to the loyalty of its customers and the mobilization of its troops that the company recovered from this event, which in the end was an essential step towards modernizing its operations. In 2015, Labranche Transport will be moving into brand-new facilities, with a surface that will support the company's growth.
The team, the facilities and the fleet have been constantly expanding ever since, with the same objective in mind: to offer a transport service of unrivalled quality, and to provide a solution designed to simplify the task of its customers.
